The Portrait

An Interior Portrait is a digital image of an imagined interior, developed through your ideas and my artistic interpretation.

You describe what draws you in, choose objects that matter to the image, and respond as it develops. I shape the composition, light and atmosphere. Your contribution gives the work its direction.

A shared starting point

Every portrait begins within classical architecture: high ceilings, parquet floors and carefully considered details. If you feel drawn to the interiors shown here, we have a starting point.

Within that setting, we explore your preferences for furniture, colour, materials and mood. You can begin with a clear vision or a few ideas you want to see together.

How we work

1. The architecture

A short questionnaire helps me understand the space you imagine, from its proportions to the character of its architectural details. I use your answers to create an empty interior.

2. The Canvas

This first image appears in your private Gallery. Take time to look at it and imagine what you would like to bring into the space.

3. Your vision

The main questionnaire gives you room to describe your vision, share one reference image and explain your preferences.

You also explore The Collection: a selection of objects presented without brand names, so you can focus on their form and character. Choose up to three and identify one that will anchor the image. I will include that object and build the composition around it.

4. The first portrait

I bring your ideas together in a furnished interior and place the image in your Gallery. You see it before receiving any explanation from me, leaving room for your own response.

5. Your response

A short questionnaire asks what feels right, what feels less connected to your vision, and what you would like to change. Your responses guide the next stage, with up to five rounds of refinement.

Your Gallery

Your Gallery carries your name and holds the images from our work together, from the empty architecture to the completed portrait.

It is private and password-protected, with access for at least twelve months. You can return to the images in your own time and share the gallery with people you choose.

One complete portrait

One cycle concludes with one completed image, presented in your Gallery alongside the stages that led to it.

You can finish there. If you wish to continue later, we can explore another direction within the same architecture or develop additional views of your chosen interior. Further work is agreed separately.
